PC TuneUp Maintenace fails with not enough timers available

The above suggested solution and Zen-support worked to resolve the issue. It might have been some old reminants of an earlier version of Zen that affected the installation. Only hickup this time was that anit-virus identified avgdump.exe as an infected file trying to modify an systemfile.

Hello Lundquist,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.
Please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.

Fix after first time Maintenance scan halts at Startup & Shutdown with error message:
AVG 1-Click Maintenace Not enough timers available

Hi Kishore.  Sorry, but I was premature in confirming.  The scan completed but the "not enough timers" issue was still present when I tried to fix issues.  It hangs at the error and cannot complete the fix preocess.  I have unistalled and reinstalled both using Windows "Add/Remove programs" and using the method above, but it does not fix the issue.  I've deleted my previous comment to avoid confusion. Please post a fix when resolved.

Thanks, Barry
