We regret the inconvenience caused. You can change the default app to open PDF files as described in this link. I see that you have reached us a couple of days ago regarding the same issue. Did you change the default app settings then? Did the issue recur even after changing those settings?
So how do I change the extensions again?
This is very annoying and is causing me to rethink using AVG.

Every time you send out an AVG update, down at the lower seft-hand corner in VERY SMALL print, there are two check boxes allowing the user to opt out of your secure browser. The problem is that these checkboxes and the text is too small and placed on the screen in such a way that they are intended to be overlooked!!! You need to put these choices in the center of the page and use larger text to get the user's attention.
As an antivirus company you should NOT be adding additional programs in with your software updates, it is deceitful at the least! Users learn to distrust the company and their offerings.
