Hi, thanks for your reply. I can open PDF documents ok, but I can't see them in the preview pane, which is very time consuming as I have to keep opening them to check them. I have looked at the settings in tune-up and tried to 'wake up' Adobe Acrobat DC 64-bit. The orange line has got stuck about a quarter of the way along and I still can't preview the PDF docs. I have now tried 'ignoring' Adobe, but still can't see the preview of the PDF docs.
I have read about AVG tune up causing problems with being able to see PDF documents in the preview pane. Is there a way I can fix this?

Just to be clear, are you facing issue while accessing your PDF document on your computer?
If yes, please check if your PDF viewer (i.e, Adobe) and other necessary applications/windows features are listed in the sleeping program in AVG TuneUp > Speed up > Background & startup programs.
