Hi forum members,

I installed the free version of AVG mobile antivirus. Device is a OnePlus 3T running OS 8.0

Issue is the permanent notification for real time protection under Settings.  You have 4 options which are Dark, Light and Standard theme or none which turns this off (not recommended).

Regardless of which one you select (with the exception of turning this off), nothing is displayed in the notification area of my device and when selecting a widget I only have the one that has the dark background with white icons.

Is this a known issue where the notification is not displaying?

Any assistance greatly appreciated as would like to purchase the full version once the trial has ended and have had time to evaluate the software.

@Alan.  I seem to be getting conflicting information. Alok mentioned about contacting the mobile support team which is for paid users and you have mentioned via email only.  All I am asking is for some ownership and support to my query from the support forum. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has had this issue before.  KR

Hi Alok.  When I click mobile support team link then it says that only paid version users are able to use this service.  Can you help with my query please?

Vijay, Please click on the link and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on Email option. Also when filling out your details choose Yes for the Question "Are you currently using any paid/trial AVG products?" and click on Email option. The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.
