I realize that, I am saying that the limited availability of customer service is UNACCEPTABLE. I finally did receive an email back saying to put my phone in safe mode and uninstall the product was THE ONLY WAY to fix my phone since somehow my device "is not registered". I completed that and it is still locked in normal mode and then when I tried to go back in safe mode and launch it it tells me the app has been uninstalled. How can AVG continue to lock my phone when the app isn't even on the phone? How can AVG LOCK MY PHONE FROM USE WHEN IT ISNT EVEN "REGISTERED" according to them? I tried resetting my password and using it and it still says wrong password. My last resort is doing a factory reset. Will that work?
So I had to get a new sim card today and it locked me out of my phone. I tried all of my passwords I could think of all say they are wrong. I logged into the website and it shows my device is not registered (even though I got emails from them showing my picture and location of trying to access the phone (including the serial number of my device)) Anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed or how to actually contact someone on a phone? I need this fixed ASAP
