Last September Photoshop started asking me to log in almost every time I wanted to use it instead of checking for a valid subscription in the background without me even being aware.
This has continued for the whole year despite major updates to both Photoshop & AVG TuneUp. I have not added any new programs to my computer during the past year & the only changes I am aware of in that time are the regular updates for the existing programs I have been running for some time.
Adobe have been unable to solve the issue & the only thing I can think of that could be causing the issue is perhaps a clash with one of my settings in AVG (although I am unaware of changing any for several years).
Do you have any idea is an AVG setting could be causing the problem? I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
Lee Tucker
Hi Lee,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
The possibility for this to happen could be, you might have hibernated Photoshop while optimizing the computer using AVG TuneUp.
To check this : Open AVG TuneUp - Speed Up - Background & startup programs - Scroll down to find programs that are sleeping - check if Adobe Photoshop is listed.
If listed, click on Wake beside it & then ignore the program from future scans in the same page (at top).
Please try the above step & let us know if it helps.
