Picture displayed when I stop an AVG component or PC shutdown

Hello Rod,

I am sorry to hear that. Can you please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of the image with the confirmation message to check and assist you further?

I did the repair steps you suggested and restarted the computer as instructed, but it did not fix the situation.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks, Rod

Whenever I Stop any AVG Free component a copy of a particular jpg I have in my very large Pictures folder gets displayed until I respond to the confirmation message.  In addition, when Stutting Down the PC it gets displayed for about 1 second then disappears,  I have tried renaming the jpg file in the Pictures folder but it still gets displayed.  I have tried rclicking the picture while displayed to find its source but there is no response.  This occurs in both V15 and V16.  It started occurring a few months ago and I can't recall any other associated event.

Any suggestions on how to prevent this?
Rod,

Rod,
Thank you for providing the screenshot. It shouldn't be happening and don't click on "yes" to continue it. I would request you to repair AVG Antivirus http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG from the control panel and then check if that fixes the issue.

Rod, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
