I understand your concern.
The media files that are received in Whatsapp, will not get deleted unless deletion was done by the user or while clearing media files using other third party apps.
Please let us know on how to help you regarding this concern, as it is not due to AVG.

I'm using AVG antiVirus Pro for my Android Motorola G5+.
Pictures made and received in WhatsApp are after a short time not avialable; The message I see (translated from Dutch) This media file does not exisat in you intern storage".
I think I have to change a setting; can you tell me what I have to do?
