Are you receiving incoming POP emails only when 'Scan inbound emails (POP3, IMAP) disabled? If yes, please try to repair AVG, enable this feature and verify the issue.
Am running AVGFree 19.8.3108 (build 19.8.4793.544). Was working fine this morning but now is blocking all my incoming POP mail. It's happy with my incoming IMAP mail which makes no sense – it's the same email (Run POP & IMAP client to interact with gmail account). For now, I've disable the check on inbound POP/IMAP mail. Would like to restore. What's going on?? Why this behavior today and just for the past 8 hrs? Thanks! Should I report this as a bug? (an update of some sort was applied – which required a restart – but this issue appeared before the update and persisted after the restart).

Rather than run the repair, thought I'd re-enable to the POP/IMAP scan option and then test what happens. Apparently, the problem has gone away. Don't know why …but will keep in mind that if it happens again … I'll try to repair AVG option. Bottom line – I have no idea why this problem popped up up out of nowhere (email earlier today came in fine) and then mysteriously departed.
