Pop up about removed Powliks

I've read all the comments and went to this link:
How to Remove Win32/Poweliks in 3 Easy Steps | AVG
as recommended by staff.  But, this link--  poweliks.exe-- doesn't work after download. Box says unspecified error. Please help.
