Hello Ken. There should be some adware programs got installed on your PC. That is the reason you are getting such annoying popups. These adware programs are to be removed manually. I request you to start uninstalling of all unknown/unused programs from the control panel as well please remove the weird, unwanted, unused addons, toolbars, searchbars, extensions and plugins. Close your browser and then open again if you still get the popups please do let us know what are those popups display. Thank you.

For a few weeks I have been hounded by pop ups when running chrome and even worse with mozilla firefox. McAfee identified a threat that it could not remove - a PUP. After numerous scans and failed attempts I deinstalled McAfee and installed AFG. The AVG scan identified 8 threats that McAfee had missed. It safely secured them. However the ads keep on coming and another scan identified nothing. How should I proceed?
