I am seeing the same pop up months later. Why has their not been a way to block this? I need those instructions too.

I have an AVG account for Tech Suport that does not expire until end of October 2015. Last week, I started getting Popups with voice warning about serious and urgent computer issues that need to be fixed immediately to avoid data loss. Popup reads: "Error 333 Registry Failure of operating system - Host: Blue Screen Error 0x000000CE - Contact a computer technician - Toll Free: 1 866-428-2226 - DO NOT RESTART". I called the toll free # and a man with foreign accent (Indian, I think) asked me if I had ever received this message before and I said no. As he begin to explain that he could fix/clean up the problem, it sounded familiar from another time I had a similar encounter and allowed someone to "fix"/clean up my computer for more than $200 and it was more "broken" than when he started. With effort, I was able to get some of the money refunded but it was all one big hassle. So, I quickly got him off the phone. I noticed that everytime I logged in to my Last Pass account where I have all my passwords stored, about 5 minutes later I would get the same popup again with the voice warning. I need to know what to do and how to stop this virus scam which could be steeling my passwords.
