This isn't the experience we wanted you to have.
I would like to inform that the campaigns appearing on the bottom of AVG interface cannot be disabled in the free version.
We request you to share us the screenshot of the pop-up you're unable to close.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
There is something very irritating about AVG pop-ups. Some of them cannot be dismissed by an X in the upper right corner. The only way to get rid of them is to restart the computer. It resides in the bottom tray and if the computer is not restarted it comes up on the screen at random times.
The current one is entitled: "Claim Your 74% Loyalty Discount" but there have been many others in the past.
This needs to be fixed so that EVERY SINGLE pop-up screen can be dismissed, NO EXCEPTIONS!
This appears to be deliberate to pressure the user to purchase something when what is being offered is not wanted.
