Hello everyone…As of today, I keep getting popups says I have a critical Trojan virus. They are stamped with the Microsoft Edge logo. Is there any way to remove this behaviour with my AVG Platinum? Thankyou in advance…Standing by…

Hi Dinesh. I am in my 70s and not all that good with computers. I do not know how to make a screen shot, but the popups keeps appearing in the lower 1/6th of my screen and the right side. Things like "Critical Virus Alert" "You have a hacked device" Alert! Your McAffee subscription has expired, click here to renew (I don't even have McAffee Antivirus), then there's one from Microsoft Edge that says to click here to remove those annoying popups…Another one from Microsoft Edge says Trojan Virus detected, your Windows OS will be shut down in 10 minutes. I have run my AVG Platinum 10 times and have tried to delete Microsoft Edge without any luck. Can you please help me untangle this mess? I rely on my computer for medical reasons, and can
t afford the downtime or those pesky popups. Thankyou in advance for looking into this for me…The popups are varied and happens about every 10-15 seconds. Rob Orizino AVG Platinum Member
