Possible malware changes language of sites?

Hi Glenn,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
From your description, it seems that the language of your browser might be changed. Please try accessing One drive file & Linked in account in a different browser to check if it helps or try changing language of browser.
You can be rest assured that your computer would be protected against emerging threats & hackers, with AVG Internet Security installed on it.
If issue persists, share us the screenshot of the page that is in non-readable format or other language, for better clarity.

Hi,

Today I received an email from a known friend/colleague. The link was supposedly to a Word document within a MS One Drive folder. Right after I clicked on the link, I got an AVG message saying it had blocked (at some point) a malware threat. I ran a scan and the scan showed no problems. However, later today I opened a Google doc from a friend (legit) and everything on the site, except the actual doc text was in a foreign language (looked to be Eurasia/Russia or something. The same thing happened when I tried to open my LinkedIn account. The site itself was in that same non-English language. Any ideas?
