Possible virus on hard drive

Hello, Kristy

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
When you perform a scan, did you receive any virus detected message from the AVG?
If yes, Could you share the screenshot of that?

All my drives went down weeks ago. So I removed them and put new ones in and install total new software. Win 10. Since three drives went down all at once a virus is suspect. The old drives have important info on them I need. How do I go about getting the info off the suspect drives safely

Maybe I didnt explain myself correctly.
1. My computer went down c; was an ssd drive. Would not boot with win7
2. my 2 hard drives e: and f: says empty. They have important info.
3. So I removed and replaced all hard drives. Installed win10
4. The old hard drives are not installed because of virus suspect on those uninstalled drives.
5. I need to install the old drives but I am afraid that they may infect and distroy my new drives.
6. How can I install the drives safely?

Thank you for explaining in detail, Kristy.

We do not recommend unmounting hard drives if you suspect they are infected.

We suggest you to recover the data with reaching your local technician for further assistance.
