This morning my computer was very slow starting. After some time AVG appeared and was scanning, but it was scanning things that I have never seen previously. Tune-up also appeared and showed hundreds of issues, which has never happened previously. Then AVG said my discs needed to be scanned, so I initiated scan on C: Drive and that was taking a very long time. Below the progress bar was File verification (or something like that) about 1/3 through the scan. I looked under my profile, and the subscription renewal dates were correct, but my email/profile name did not appear. I clicked on the AVG App on my desktop and looked at my profile there, and my email and profile were correct. I am in the process of running a scan from my App (Windows 10 on PC) and it is extremely slow. Any ideas/suggestions as to what may have happened and if there is anything further I should do?
