Hello Bob,
We recommend you not to click on any unknown/third party links and website as it might be a 'scam'. You may start receiving some advertisement popups if any adware programs get installed in your computer unknowingly when you install any other legitimate programs. Please note that there are new variants of malware developing everyday and our developers are working round the clock to add all those virus definitions to our database. Are you using a latest version(2016) of your AVG program? Did you check for any suspicious program in the 'control panel' list of installed programs and tried uninstalling? We also request you go to 'advanced settings' of your web browser and then 'reset' your browser once and then disable/delete the extensions which you do not use. Feel free to contact us again for any assistance. Thank you.
I was visiting indeed.com and found a link for a job opening entitled "Xbox Gaming Support and Service Representative" for a Sutherland Global Services. This "company's" job posting is for the Lees Summit, MO area. (http://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=xbox&l=Lees+Summit%2C+MO) The link directed me to xxx-hacker.com/loading/loading etc. The screen was black and the URL kept updating/adding "/loading" to the line. I closed the browser and ran AVG Free scan. Is there anything else I should be doing?
*WARNING* I've copied the link, here it is: http://www.indeed.com/pagead/clk?mo=r&ad=-6NYlbfkN0CsrcHiIZNZaH8N9U8QwwiOk8UCLUOomZhyoJc4Ey5vSVI_Njh3kIGEDEeFD4uR93qHxvrMCvzf4axt57Gf424IxeoLXq4gIJ0VohYu3fhILVZlEso5fEK82v1rVsema3rqRFprJ_aw0Adi-vUFhK_JpGpIlAREBpMwjtoltz6fEIe6NSF9tYEIvxUyqSZGQmK5VlRCLgDMDTz4V4C42BXnzWEwzfPjJ1M0Y86jdyQnGam0uniUr7Q192QGcNRNCh0ucA-xxZxpriYXtYi6A4XlTLaHcCAwoGViMSMyHX0vynsOfW1X4gG8q11_MVuJY2a5l9KXOT1-Q4jgAOaupAkhBejy2UF9Xw0tZUab6eaP_pcRIYAg5_3iY6dxa0GBcahllRKS2YqiLg==&p=3&sk=213d1b1ba37bcde5&fvj=0&tk=1ahp3hla6av5hfsc&jsa=7878
Thank you for your time.
Thank you, I will follow those steps!
