Hi Roger,

We understand your concern, could you please try disabling AVG and then checking the issue once. To disable AVG, Please click on the "Show Hidden Icons" on your Taskbar. Right-click on the AVG Icon and then click on ON to turn it "OFF".

In the past 3 or 4 days, my powerpoint started hanging up or freezing for the first time.  The only change that was made to my computer before this happened is that AVG performed an update, which I suspected, therefore, may have caused the difficulty.  I just Googled a brief description of the problem and several Microsoft Windows troubleshooting articles came up indicating that the problem can be the virus protection program interfering with powerpoint.  Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix it?
