Powershell hangs (5 to 10s) when exiting using the X button

Hello,

Windows 10, latest updates installed, AVG enabled (latest "free" version, all updates installed)

Powershell hangs for 5 to 10 seconds before exiting when exit is requested by clicking on the Windows X button (top right). No hang time when typing "exit" from the prompt.

The issue have been reported to a Windows forum and different tests have been performed until someone pointed out a difference in behavior afterfull windows install and installing AVG.

I went on and tried the following:

I disabled AVG:
Exit from powershell (using the x button) is instantaneous.
Re-enabling all but the “Computer Protection” (the leftmost option of AVG GUI window)
Exit from powershell (using the x button) is instantaneous.
Re-enabling the “Computer Protection” (the leftmost option of AVG GUI window)
Exit from powershell (using the x button) hangs again for 5 to 10 seconds before being effective.
 
So it looks more like an AVG issue than a Windows powershell problem.

Anyone can investigate on what the actual AVG issue could be?
