Prevent thumbnail shortcuts from appearing on Home page

Hi Mark,

Please open AVG Secure browser new tab page where you see recently visited icons.
At the bottom right corner, check whether "customize" option is appearing.
If yes, click on it and select "Shortcuts".
Use the slider available near "Hide shortcuts" and enable that option.
You should't be seeing the recently visited icons again.

My default Homepage on AVG Secure Browser is the Google Search page. Every time I visit a website that website appears as a thumbnail shortcut under the search box. I know I can delete them one by one but how do I prevent this happening at all? I don't want other users of my computer seeing what sites I have visited.

When I try to log in to the Support Center I'm also getting a message that says -

'We'll be right back!
Sorry, w're currently hard at work improving our Support Center.'

I uninstalled the AVG Secure Browser then re-installed it. The version I now have is 89.9140.130. Neither 'Customize' nor a pencil icon are still not showing.

The 'Customize' option isn't showing.

I forgot to say that there are no other icons showing at all.
