Do you have AVG Secure VPN installed in your PC? If yes, please turn off VPN alone and let us know whether Wi-Fi Printer working fine.

Don't know if this is happening to anyone else: I have AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) on my Windows PC (latest Windows updates and Office 365), and now my Brother MFC-J4625DW (over wifi) is constantly offline. But constantly.
I have tried uninstalling it and installing, but the only way the PC picks up the printer is if I turn off AVG antivirus temporarily (right-click on tray icon, turn off).
To print, I also have to turn AVG off, otherwise it will be constantly offline.
And I have to turn AVG off > open document to print > wait for all document to be transferred to printer spooler > document prints > turn AVG back on.
The AVG TAP Adapter v3 was showing with a blueish dot on the Device Manager (blueish dot? Have never seen this before!..), so I deleted it. Made no difference whatsoever to my printing experience.
Anyone else having similar problems? This is NOT a network issue (I have, of course, reset the printer, reconnected to the wifi, which is the same as the PC, etc etc etc.), it is an AVG issue. I might just have to chuck AVG after 20 years of using it if this continues…
