Printer problem

Hi Craig,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
To check if AVG is causing the issue, we'd suggest you to temporarily disable AVG protection.
If disabling the entire protection fixes the issue, please disable each components individually as mentioned in the above article & let us know the component that is causing the issue.

I know this is a long shot, but I'm not sure where to go to resolve this problem.

Problem: home network with 2 HP laptops and a HP printer on the wireless network.
AVG protection on both laptops.  All have been performing normally for several years.  This past week, both laptops failed to connect to the printer.  Sometimes they say the printer is offline, other times simply "not connected".  Printer screen shows an IP address and the wireless light on the printer is lit. I've rebooted the router, the printer and the laptops several times to no avail.  I have not knowingly changed any settings.

Question: is it possible an AVG setting was somehow changed and is preventing the laptops from accessing the printer?  If this is possible, how would I investigate this and what should be done to correct the problem.

I know, a long shot, but thought I'd take a chance.
Thanks for considering my dilemma.
