My printer is wired. As far as I know I use only AVG security.
Would it help if I completely uninstalled the printer and removed its USB cable and turned the computer off, then started it up again and plugged the printer in again and installed it again?

I am sorry, but turning AVG off doesn't help any. I have also allowed the printer in the AVG settings. Again, no difference. I can print directly from a document, but the scanner function does not work.
After updating my AVG security, I can no longer use my printer, why not?

We are really sorry to know that turning off AVG had not helped you to connect printer. Please let us know if your printer is wired or wireless.
Also, let us know if you have anyother AVG subscriptions apart from AVG Internet Security.
