I am using 2nd LAN card on my Windows 10 system to connect NAS box.

Onboard LAN is used for internet which is working fine.

If I set Private mode on the 2nd network my NAS is connected successfully.

But after reboot the AVG is again changing to PUBLIC mode and NAS is not connecting.

Private mode is not saved.

Or if I disable AVG Firewall again my NAS is connected.

Similar issue is reported many time by other AVG users and no where the solution is given properly.

Simply reinstalling AVG doesn't solve this issue.

It seems a major bug in AVG.

If you think PUBLIC mode is expected while connecting any external (NAS) device on the 2nd LAN

Then how to allow the known local network like my NAS box ?

When AVG firewall is blocking my 2nd LAN, it must have an option to un block also.

I tried creating Packet rules but it works only for PRIVATE mode and not for PUNBLIC mode.

My AVG version: 21.8.3202 (build 21.8.6586.695)

UI: 1.0.626

My System:

Windows 10 64bit, 16GB RAM, ASUS Z170 Pro
