I had a free trial for 30 days. It expired yesterday. AVG keeps prompting me to purchase PRO - I am unable to get rid of the screen. The normal AVG screen is in the background, but I am unable to click on the normal AVG screen. What needs to be done? I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall AVG. Thanks.
Yeah I have the same problem! Makes NO sense whatsoever to have to clean uninstall the RE install to get rid of a nusense issue! I too clicked on it in error trying to click on a desktop icon when this damn popup jumpped inthe way. I could not even stop the install!
I don't mind the occasional request to purchase upgraded products, but it's all over the UI so why keep annoying me with these damn popups?
If I want it I'll click on the button in the UI and buy it…if I don't those damn annoying popups are not going to make me more suceptable to purchase!

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you have installed any 'trial' version of AVG program other than AVG Free, we suggest you to remove all the AVG programs and then install AVG Antivirus Free alone by following the instructions provided by "Avinash Seshaiah " in this 'thread'. Thank you.
I keep haaving the same problem - sooooo annoying I am tempted to really forever uninstall my free AVG that I have had for years. No matter what I do, no matter how often I may have to reboot or any other action I keep getting these annoying pop ups from AVG asking me to try this. try that, prruchase this, purchase that. For heavens sake, leave us alone. If we want to upgrade, purchase something, we will let you know.
