Probable Scam Payment

I received a notification of a pending payment to AVG from my bank. This payment was taken on 21/05/2026 but I don’t have any record of any account on the AVG customer site.

I have the same problem. It appears AVG have taken £54.99 from me but I have ordered nothing, as shown on my account. However, I can find no way through their website to actually contact them and find out whether it is a scam or they have made an error. Even for them to say the bill did not come from them. My bank is useless as they keep saying they want order numbers etc., and there are none. For a company like AVG to not provide access is inexcusable.

And as this is a community sight, is that something else AVG are not monitoring and don’t care about? I have received no reply from my previous message. And as for the chat bot that doesn’t even answer …

Ian - did you find a way to contact AVG eventually? I have the same problem and cannot get into their customer service as I have no order.
