Problem doing an update

Craig, With Win 10 Windows Defender is classified as an AntiVirus prog which will conflict with AVG so during the installation process it's disabled so it won't interfere with AVG.

I have the free version  of Windows  10 and I have windows  Defender  for some reason  now I tried  to do an update  for my paid version  of AVG and know it won't work is there a with AVG and Windows  defender.  Do I need  to reinstall  my AVG ?
