AVG is blocking any connection to aol.com sites and therefor I can not go to my e-mail account, unless I switch off AVG. What I need to do?

I am sorry that the website is still not working even after changing the firewall settings. I request you to try to access the website in any other browser than Chrome and check it. Also, please reset the chrome browser https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en and try to access the aol.com.
