Meanwhile I did several tests.
I have a licence for AVG Antivirus 2014, valid till May, 2016. The
operating system is Windows 7. I do not have access to Google Chrome
nor Mozilla Firefox when AVG is installed om my computer.
For the moment, AVG is not installed at all otherwise I have no access
to internet.
I noticed that the problems occur on protecting the computer and my
identity. Internet is working while surfing and emails are protected.
I hope you can help me with this problem for I don't like having my
computer unprotected and I paid for it.

Hello, I tried three times to login to safe mode (F8 button) but I got no list I could select the safe mode. Apparently this is not working on my laptop? I removed AVG Antivirus again for about the fifth time now in order to have access to internet again. Although, I'm still protected by AVG while surfing.
As this problem still persists, is there something else I could try? Thanks.
Hello, I reinstalled AVG but couldn't follow the instructions. So, as it becomes to difficult for me and takes too much time I decided to leave it as it is without AVG. Thank you all for the efforts you made.

I had a computer crash in Windows on which AVG (paid licence) was installed. I recently tried to reinstall AVG on another computer. The installation was succesfull but I could not have access to Windows Internet Explorer anymore. I got the message " Internet Explorer is not responding".So I did a system repair in order to undo the installation of AVG and to have access to internet again. I already tried to do a reset of internet explorer but no result. Does anyone have an idea how this problem could be solved?

As I already mentioned, I had to uninstall AVG in order to have access to the internet again. So yes, I have access to internet when AVG is removed. What should I do now or could it be a compatibility problem?
