I have AVG Ultimate installed on an Asus laptop running Windows 10. I have two problems that have occurred in the last few days.
1. I installed the Ant-Spam feature in the Payments section of Internet Security. When I try to switch it on using the button it just blinks green then back to red. So it does not work. Likewise, the slider control for setting the strictness for judging Spam. Any suggestions for a fix from the Community or AVG Tech Support would be most welcome.
2. Windows did an automatic security update about a week ago. Since then I get Windows Security notifications on booting up that AVG Firewall and AntiVirus are turned off while Windows Defender AntiVirus is on and Windows Firewal is off. I checked several times in the Settings that the Enhanced Firewall is definitely turned on. The IS dashboard is all green except for the new Anti-Spam issue. Has anyone experience this nuisance and know of a fix for it? I have tried Microsoft tech support without a satisfactory solution.

FYI. I went to grc.com to use their Shields Up test to check AVG Firewall. Passed test when Opera free VPN is off, but failed when VPN is on as Port 443 shows HTTPS is in use (but otherwise all ports pass test). More secure when VPN is off?
