Thanks for this reply. The response about the 'sweet spot' hidden 'X' box worked.

27/06/2015 - my PC has just downloaded and installed an update from AVG, and now i have a box displaying in the bottom right corner of the screen showing "Fix Common PC Problems - reduce problems with your printer, scanner, sound or network connection" and I cannot get rid of it. There is no 'X' to click to close the box, and nothing in the AVG control panel which helps. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it?
