I have recently puchased and installed AVG internet security, however when I double click the AVG icon the AVG window does not appear. Any idea why this is occuring ? as far as I can see the software is working.

I am not sure of the version (where do I find this) I only dowloaded/installed the software on Friday 19th

No I have not tried using the remover tool as their seemed to be no issues when the software was installed

To find the version of AVG, please open AVG, click on Support at the top.
In that click on Product information and you can find the version displayed.
We also request you to completely reinstall AVG Internet Security using the remover tool once to see whether the issue get fixed.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.

Did you upgrade your Operating System recently and then installed AVG Internet Security?
May I know the version of AVG Internet Security installed on your PC?
Have you tried reinstalling AVG Internet Security using our AVG remover tool once?
