Problem with Deactivator and EaseUS Todo Backup

Hello Alexandros,
Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Could you please open AVG Program deactivator window, check the status under "Current status" again EaseUS program and let us know to assist you further? Thank you.

Hello Alexandros,
Thank you for the detailed information. In this case, we suggest you to repair AVG Performance and check if that fix this issue regarding the "Program Deactivator". Please click on this link for the steps to run repair avgclick.me/RepairAVG
Thank you.

Hello Alex,
We really appreciate your valuable efforts which you have taken to fix it. We have sent you an email instruction to get connected with our technical support team. Please follow those instructions to get in touch with them and you should be able to resolve your issue. Thank you.

When this program is disabled, it will not run after a system restart. It will give an internal error message. There is probably something that is not being re-enabled properly by the Program Deactivator.

Alex,
We do understand your concern. We need to undo the recent changes done by AVG PC Tuneup. Please open your AVG program and click on rescue center which is at the bottom right corner and undo all the recent changes. If it doesn't help, go to c: drive-> AVG->AVG PC Tuneup-> rename the file "programdeactivator.exe" into "programdeactivator1.exe" and check for the results.

If the issue persists, kindly get  connected with our remote technician so that we could analyze the exact cause and help you further. Thank you!

Ok, I repaired both PC TuneUp and AVG (Zen) and the prolblem seems solved, at least partially. Now EaseUS Todo Backup will open properly even if its service is disabled and current Deactivator status is "Disabled until program startup".

The problem that remains is that when the program is closed, the Deactivator will not actually disable it automatically and the service will keep running until the PC is shut down or restarted. This is a common issue with the Deactivator and happens with several programs, not just Todo Backup.

I hope the Deactivator can be improved since for me it's the best part of the whole suite.

Ok but I don't understand what a remote connection can achieve, except for more time-wasting (yours and mine). Uninstall and reinstall the application? I can do that myself (we basically did it by using 'Repair') and the problem remains. The problem is clearly described and it would be much easier and quicker to just install the Todo trial and test it yourselves, it would take a couple of minutes.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you want to help but it seems that for every single issue, small or big, AVG needs to do a remote connection even after lengthy and detailed conversations. I can't do that every time.
