Any Ideas?

Ciao, Jacq.

Hmmm,
I sent the email with the tool about 3 days ago.  Should I have gotten some sort of automatic reply by now?  Everything seems to have gone quiet.

Ciao Jacq.

Sorry for the delay,  it took me a few tries to capture the right image!Screenshot of problem popup

Hello Jacq,

We appreciate your patience.
This seems to be connected to the AVG settings as Eudora is trying to connect to AVG.
Please follow these steps to send us diagnostic information from your computer. This information will allow us to analyze the situation and provide you with a solution:
1) Click here to download the AVG SysInfo tool.
2) Run the downloaded tool.
3) Click Continue to agree with AVG’s license agreement and privacy policy. AVG SysInfo will now gather the data.
4) Once the diagnostic output is ready, you may add comments, or click Attach file or Screenshot to provide us with extra information.
5) Fill in your email address, and then click Send output.
6) Reply to this email and let us know that the data has been successfully sent. Please do not modify the email subject.

Once the files are sent it will be analyzed by our level two technical team and they will communicate to you only via email.
Please keep checking for the email on spam, junk and inbox folders.

Sorry,
I didn't see this sooner, (I've had my head in another area for a while) but I can't seem to find the link for the SysInfo Tool?  Can you put the link up again and I'll check in tomorrow,

Ciao, Jacq.

It is NOT a server edition.  I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit with Service Pack 1 and I was formerly using Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit with all the Service Packs installed - I have had the same problem under both versions of Windows.  I would really like an end to this annoyance.

Thanks, Jacq

Hi All,
New Forum since I last had a question!  Anyway, I have neither AOL nor Gmail, but I get the annoying "emails are encrypted, please see the instructions here" notice every time I check  my mail at my ISP - I mean, my emails download fine anyway but the popup appears every time and it bugs me.  My email client app is Eudora and it runs on my own computer, not out in the cloud somewhere.  I'm noy sure what details I have to supply, but I do know my incoming mail server is pop, not pop3 (even though I don't really know what that means.

Thanks in advance, Jacq.

Hello Jacq,

Sorry, it is my mistake.
