Problem with installing AVG tuneup re Email sent 29.4.20

Have tried following the install instructions from the email I received yesterday. It tries to install the various files but aborts part way through. 
error shown is:
C:Program Files (x86) \AVG\AVG Tuneup\aswCmnBS.dll
An error occurred while trying to replace existing file
Should I go to the help area and re install the whole program. Not sure if my PC is currently protected!!

We would like to clarify that AVG TuneUp product will only help to speed up the device.
It will not protect the device from viruses or threats.

Thanks. Since the AVG tuneup was inadvertently updated by yourselves I cannot open the AVG software to do anything.
I tried following the instructions you gave in the email and this resulted in the error message i described in the last email. 
I cannot open the virus software or anything now. Thats why I asked should I re install everything, would this be a tricky thing to do.
