Problem with network after uninstalling

This probelm does exist, I just removed AVG using the tool as it was reporting error and needing update, though when updated says already up to date. Immediatly lost internet connection. So could not update or reinstall AVG from that point. Had to restore to an earlier system version (Win 7) to regain internet connection and reinstalled AVG and all is now fine. Hope this helps someone else with this frustrating problem with AVG.

Weldon,
Thank you for the information.
You have uninstalled AVG free from your system completely still you are experiencing issue with your Internet connection. Hence there may not be any issue with AVG Program. We kindly request you to please contact your Internet Service provider.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello Weldon,

Are you experiencing this issue after uninstalling AVG program from your system?
Thank you.

Recently, I tried to update my AVG 2015 to the latest AVG on my laptop and things started to go haywire. The installation of AVG Zen failed somehow, and my old AVG 2015 Free stopped working. Based on the error code given, I did a quick search and those who have encountered the same problem solved it by uninstalling everything and re-installing the latest AVG. So I did exactly the same; uninstalled everything using the AVG removal tool downloaded from the AVG website. However, after I uninstalled the AVG, I can no longer connect to the internet through Wifi or Ethernet. Initially I thought that the problem is only temporary but it has been 2 days since this occurred. I really need my laptop to do my work. Please advice. I tried to contact the Official AVG Technical Support but there isn't any reply at all

Yes that is correct. I uninstalled both the AVG 2015 Free edition and ZEN edition using the AVG removal tool. The connection issues faced started after I reboot my laptop.

Hi Michael,

I'm currently using Windows 8.1. My computer have no problem detecting surrounding networks including my own wireless connection, and it has no problem connecting to it too. But when its connected, the connection is limited and the little yellow triangle sign will appear on the network icon. The same thing happen when I'm using ethernet connection. The only time the yellow triangle sign didn't appear is when I tried connecting to my workplace wireless connection. Even so, I'm still not able to connect to the internet.

Hi,
However, after I uninstalled the AVG, I can no longer connect to the internet through Wifi or Ethernet - so definitely this isnt bec of AVG.

I can no longer connect to the internet through Wifi or Ethernet - may i know what windows OS you have? and when you said that you can no longer connect to internet using wifi, does your computer even detect your wireless connection? and if you are using ethernet connection, do you see a yellow triangle on the network icon on the lower right hand side?
