Found if I disable file sheild it seems to have no problems, but don't think this a good solution.
Disregard my last post, disablling File Sheild worked for a while but failed after a short period.
I have now found disabling Anti Spam in the Payment section and I have been running this disabled for more than 24hrs and Outlook 2016 has fetched my emails without fail.
I have also gone into my Google account settings to allow (not secure programs)
What is the next step?

Please disable each component in AVG Internet Security and identify the root cause of the issue.

It seems that I am having problems with avg internet security and outlook 2016. if I disable avg everything seems ok, if I enable avg outlook sometimes it is able to pull my email and other times it fails…
Has anybody got any ideas.
Roger…having same prob w/ no answers yet. Checked MS support, tried registry hacks, tried outlook chnages - noting yet. Started after last AVG Inet Security upgrade; version 20.3.3120 (build 20.3.5200.573). Still looking for answer. Lots of searches show that it is long time issue w/ MS Outlook, but no real answers that work. Happened b4 but can't remmeber how it got fixed or changed. Betting it has to with AVG, but not sure what. If find it, will post.
