Hello Cro,
We are sorry to know about the inconvenience caused. Did you check if the issue persists after disabling your AVG program (http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG)? Thank you.
I have been having problems ever since I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 with the Thunderbird email program. According to one of the experts on the Mozilla support group the problem lies with AVG and my anti-virus software.
The problem is that when I delete emails – not always but often enough to make it a nuisance – the program freezes – does not respond – for at least 30 seconds to a minute. Then it is fine again until I try to delete or move an email to a folder. But it doesn't happen for any particular reason. Just randomly. That is why it is so frustrating. Can anyone help me?
Yes, I already restarted in "Safe Mode" and the program seemed to work fine. So I was told that my anti-virus is causing the problem.
