well i did update avast and that did not fix the issue. even using another browser like opera, still gives me the url: blacklist thing. so i don't know what could be the problem other than it may be avg itself.

well, i did update the AVG antivirus free as you mentioned in the previous post.

from what i can see the version for the application it says
ver.20.7.31.40 - build  20.7.5568.597 which was released on september 1st.

hopefully that is what i am looking for when it comes to version.
.

so as of recently i been having a issue with my avg program which is basic protection and this has been happening with my google chrome browser. i have already reset google chrome so i don't know how to fix it.
whenever i try to click on a link on tumblr that redirects me to a site like deviantart and i get this pop up message.

Amanda, do you mean to say that you no longer see threat detection popup for link appearing on Tumblr after updating AVG or resetting chrome browser?

i'm sorry but whenever i try to insert the picture, it won't show up for whatever reason.
just shows blank or whatever. especially when i enter a descriptiion on the image underneath it too.

We appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshots, Amanda.
Please ensure that the AVG program on your computer has the latest patches applied to it. To do so : Open AVG Free Antivirus - Click on refresh icon beside virus definitions - Restart computer after successful update.
Meanwhile, please try accessing the website in a different browser to check if this happens irrespective of browsers or with Chrome alone.

i believe the issue is fixed now from what i did, at least

well i did update avast and that did not fix the issue. even using another browser like opera, still gives me the url: blacklist thing. so i don't know what could be the problem other than it may be avg itself.

Thank you for the information.

AVG and Avast are completely different programs. Did you update the AVG AntiVirus Free as mentioned in the previous post?

Could you mention the version of the AVG program?

Keep us posted.

Thank you for the confirmation, Amanda
