Hello Stella,
I understand this must be upsetting. Are you facing this issue on your Laptop or desktop?
Upon restoring your device settings to an earlier date, the issue must be resolved if it is caused by AVG PC TuneUp. If you are using an external speakers please try to connect them on another device and check to make sure it is not a hardware issue. You could also check the status of the Audio drivers in your computer device manager.
If AVG PC TuneUp is still installed on your device, please undo the changes http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-revert-changes-done-by-PC-TuneUp it made to your computer.
After installing and using AVG tuneup last night, my computer is messed up this morning. It took triple the time to start up, and my speakers are not working. I did a system restore but to no avail. After troubleshooting, the speakers started working but with terrible noise that was not there before, and same problem with my bluetooth speakers. I absolutely regret this useless trial that has messed my pc. It wiped out my play count on windows media that helped me keep track of audio trainings I'm listening to etc. My powerpoint isn't working properly, and I am not looking forward to finding out other programs have been affected.
Help please???

It's a lapptop. You have the nerve to insinuate that the hardware is faulty. My audio drivers and hardware were working perfectly well prior to avg tuneup!!!
The hardware is working fine with other devices.
What rubbish!!! I will never use AVG again! It has caused a lot of problems on my laptop and wasted my time.
Stella, I understand how difficult this is for you.
When you do a system restore, all the changes made by AVG PC TuneUp will be restored to the original state.
If the issue persists, you need to either check the audio settings or the driver.
