Problems reinstalling AVG Antivirus software

Are you experiencing this issue on a Mac?
Which version of macOS are you running?

When I try to reinstall the AVG Antivirus software I keep getting installation errors "AVG Antivirus is already installed" Please uninstall the previous version first, but unfortunately I can no longer find any clues or clues to the previous version to delete

I already got help AVG on Facebook:  If you still have issues, please use the below steps 1. Open Finder 2. In menu bar select Go > Go to folder 3. Copy and paste the following path: /Library/Application Support 4. Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder 5. Run new AVG installation.
