My PC has been performing very well until the last week or so.
The problems I am having when on the internet (I use Google Chrome):
1. Tabs keep opening independently on their own on the tab bar to the right. Usually relevant to some search I am doing or a tab I have opened. Often get ads from reimage repair and McAfee – they ask me to renew my subscription, I don’t have an account with them. Also fake Microsoft site telling me I have a virus and to phone them.
2. Annoying adverts come up on the right of my screen, also relevant to searches I am making or have made.
I have AVG protection. Any suggestions would be useful.
