Hello!
I've been using AVG Free Antivirus for some years now and I've never had a problem. Nevertheless, it's been a couple of weeks since my computer is running slow and AVG keeps saying everytime I start my PC that there are 2 files lacking in order to work properly: MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll.
I've to point out that the only thing that I'm conscious of having installed during the last 3 weeks in my computer is the latest version of the drivers of my graphic card. So I have no clue what could have started this.
Looking in some forums I've found that those files are missing is a relatively common mistake and that It could be fixed reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. So I've installed various versions trying to solve the problem (the latest one and as the problem wasn't solved I installed some previous ones…). None of this worked.
So I've tried to unistall and reinstall the AVG Antivirus to check if that could fix it. But when I tried to unistall it, I get this message:
Código de error: 0xC0070643
Descripción: Event exec_finished
So I looked in the AVG website and I've found the AVG Remover Tool was the way to go. This was the only way to unistall the AVG Antivirus of my PC. Then, I downloaded the latest version of AVG Antivirus but when trying to install it again, I get the same error: the files MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll seem to be missing.
Now I've no clue of what to do next. Any idea of what can I do? Or how could I fix this?
Thank you for your patience and kindness!
