Hello Chris,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
May I know the name of AVG program that is installed on your PC? Is it free, trial or paid version?
Could you please check on C:\ drive whether any folder present as AVG remover, if yes, please delete it manually and check whether you are getting the error again.
Everytime my computer starts up I get an error message from avgui.exe . it says "The exception Illegal Instruction. An attempt was made to execute an Illegal Instruction. (0xc000001d) occurred in the application at location 0x621447ad." When I try to remove AVG I also get an error message saying that 'zstatetoolx.exe has stopped working', and 'AVG Remover Utility has stopped working', and then I get an error message saying 'None has stopped working'. Please can somebody tell me why am I having this problem with AVG and how do I fix this?? Also when I try to uninstall AVG from the Control Panel it doesn't work. Please help!?

Hi,
I have just tried this but I get the same errors when running the removal tool, even in safe mode. I get these crash errors all the time : 'zstatetoolx.exe has stopped working', 'AVG Remover Utility has stopped working', and 'None has stopped working'. then when I restart into normal Windows the original problem is still there!! AVG isn't removing properly, cannot be run properly and cannot be removed properly. is this a virus??
