Problems with AVG VPN

I have been using the VPN for months now. I enabled access to local devices and was able to print all along, but now I can no longer print over our wireless network unless I turn off the VPN. How can I correct this? Also killer switch keeps coming on I have changed location also changed to private and ticked box for devices but I still have to turn off to get things working. This has all happened since renewal.
