We apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please check if the older AVG files were completely removed from your computer? We also suggest you to run AVG remover tool(http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV) and then try to install AVG in your computer.

Hi! I've had the free AVG AntiVirus for a while now, but today I tried to update it and was told that I had to uninstall and then reinstall. However, when I tried to download the program again I was told I couldn't because I still have Kaspersky - which I don't, not anymore. I cannot find Kaspersky ANYWHERE on my computer, and I don't understand how it's a problem now when I had no problems downloading AVG the first time around.
Have anyone experienced something similar, and know how I can proceed?

Thank you for the information. The AVG remover tool will not work for mac computers. Please click on this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG-AntiVirus-for-Mac for the steps to uninstall AVG completely from your mac computer. If you still have any issue, we suggest you to run kaspersky remover for Mac and then check if you are able to install AVG.

Thank you so much for your fast reply! I use mac, so unfortunately I cannot install the remover too, does this program exist for mac as well?
