AVG Antivirus Free found the issue about a week ago and it is in the System32 folder. The Virus is located in C:Windows\System32\ie4uinit.exe , it was found on May 21, 2018 at 3:04 PM, and it threat is a IDP.Generic. Any Help? I haven't had a problem with my computer ever since it was quarantined though I want to be careful and take any threats to my computer seriously. Is this a standard System32 file or is it somewhere it shouldn't be. I am currently running a deep scan to check if there are any other problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
I don't use internet explorer, I use chrome

I do not have a screenshot shot of the detection as AVG never notified me.

Brian, Internet explorer must be default program of your OS. You can restore the file from quarantine if you would want or ignore it.
