Problems with VPN

Hello Mar,

1. How do you confirm that AVG Secure VPN keep changing the IP location?
2. Let us know the operating system installed in your device.
3. Have you tried to reinstall AVG Secure VPN program?

We look forward for your response. Thank you.

Hello. I have a 2 questions. 1) Why is VPN still changing ip adress without my permission(problem now - 4x in 30 minutes)? 2) If I have set location to CZ, why is VPN connecting me to UK locations? I must start VPN 5x-6x in row to reach right location(longtiome problem). Thank you for answer. I tryed contact support via chat and no response. Best regards Balcar M.

Before I start any remote administration to my computer, are you all right on your end? I normally connect via VPN to a wide range of IP addresses (from .130-.210). Today, when I connect, there are always 2 addresses (.199 and .198). Do you have any maintenance or down servers? I tried it on desktop and laptop and the same result, so I don't know why you need access to my computer? Two simple questions. Is all on your side OK?( No maitenance? No servers aout of orders?) How is the connection secured when changing ip addresses when the Kill Switch does not work? Thank you.

We'd like to clarify that the regular maintenance occurs every Saturday at 6PM EST (GMT/UTC -5), or 6PM EDT (GMT/UTC -4) during daylight saving time, and lasts for 1 hour. Your service is not typically affected by this maintenance.
When Kill Switch is enabled, your internet connection is automatically blocked if AVG Secure VPN unexpectedly disconnects. This ensures that your real location is not exposed.
Since, this isn't the usual behavior & issue persists even after reinstalling, we'd suggest you to take advantage of our additional support by following the steps in the email to further investigate & escalate to next level support (accordingly). Thank you in advance!
