Product Key not recognized

Give it a break.  I posted first in the AVG Performance forum, then I realised that it was the wrong forum.  I didn't know if experts in that forum would be able to answer my question, so posted in the Other Products forum.  Big deal.

I bought TuneUp Utilities 2012 from cleverbridge in 2012.  I installed it on my Windows XP desktop.  I have now replaced that machine with a Windows 8.1 work station.  I want to install TuneUp Utilities on my new machine, but I cannot.  I followed the advice on AVG's support site and downloaded TuneUp Utilities 2015, but I cannot install it because my product key is not recognized.  I am copying-and-pasting the product key from the order confirmation e-mail that cleverbridge sent to me in 2012, so I am sure that I am getting it correct.  I phoned AVG's support site but they told me that my customer details are not in their system.  However cleverbridge sent the order confirmation e-mail to me in 2012, so my details must have been in the system at some point.  AVG's support staff told me to phone cleverbridge - it seems that they do not even know that cleverbridge is AVG's sales affiliate.  I checked the cleverbridge site which sent me an e-mail confirming that I made the order, but that site does not offer product support.  It was very frustrating dealing with AVG's telephone support staff.  What must I do to be able to install TuneUp Utilities on my new machine?

Regards,
Graeme Duckworth
